Projects & Causes
I’m involved in quite a few projects and causes and I wanted to share them so here we go:
The Fountain (Bedford)
The Fountain is a project to set up a town centre youth and community centre in Bedford. The project is being led by a team of directors with a range of experience in youth, community and project work headed up by Chris Johnson, who has worked as a youth worker in a local church for 5 years, and during that time has been involved in a number of drop in and regular session projects. It is anticipated a wide variety of organisations will be involved, including statutory and voluntary sector service providers, including healthcare, education, careers, arts and faith sector partners.
HUGStronger
HUGStronger stands for Helping Undergrads Grow Stronger. If you’re in or around the college years, we’re here to give you the extra oomph to get going in the morning or a second set of hands to pick you off the floor at night.
We don’t want you ducking for cover for the next four years. We don’t want you holed up in your dorm room or bedroom, afraid to show the world you’ve got spunk and attitude, strength and power. We want to help you grow up satisfied with where you are in this wide, wide world.
