21 going on 50 a response

I’m not sure if you are going to be able to read this but i will try anyway, my friend Daniel wrote this blog entry today.

In response, I know what he means, I spend most of my degree trying to get through the next week (or dance class). Usually doing my best to avoid thinking about what I wanted to do after my degree. Whereas at school you have teachers breathing down your neck at each stage about what you want to do next. At the end of university we just get kind of abandoned – like the teachers expect us to know what we what to do next.  This is now a problem, I finished my degree 4 months ago. I could have started a PGCE about this time but I turned down my place because I decided that I didn’t want to do teaching.

Now I’m in this limbo, I feel like everyone has moved on or away and i’m kinda stuck – i apply for jobs and usually get turned down along the lines of being over qualified.
